New Carstore Auction is on its way to Europe
Since the launch of Hedin Auction in 2019, the auction service has grown rapidly on the market. In connection with Hedin Mobility Group's investment in Carstore, the group's pure business concept for used vehicles, the auction site is now changing its name to Carstore Auction.
Carstore Auction has a large selection of used vehicles from various car brands available for bidding. The service is aimed at both small and large car dealers. The website has been rebuilt technically, given a major boost in both design and functionality, and offers safe and easy trading of vehicles. The new platform is built by Hedin IT and is the starting point for a planned European launch. The website is now launched in Sweden, Norway and Slovakia, and all auction cars will also be displayed on a common EU site.
With the new website, Carstore is laying the foundation for growing and offering its services to a wider audience across Europe, while continuing to focus on improving and developing the functionality according to customer needs. The goal is to create a leading marketplace for vehicle auctions in Europe.
“Our vision with Carstore Auction is to create a simple and reliable website for auctions in Europe,” says Peter Lampret, CEO of Carstore. “We have listened to our customers and are pleased to now be able to offer our services to a wider audience. We have developed the website internally and will invest heavily in continuing to develop functionality and performance over the coming year.”
The common EU site will act as a central hub for all auctions in Europe, giving users access to a wider range of vehicles and more opportunities to do business across borders. “We are confident that Carstore Auction will strengthen our position in the market and offer our customers even greater value,” concludes Lampret.
